Vesku Privacy Policy

1. Your collection and recordings

Booklet images, typed notes, edition details, collection snapshots and listening-note audio are stored in the app's storage on your device. Saved PDF catalogues and their metadata are also stored locally. You can export a PDF or a basic CSV using the system share/save controls; the destination you choose then handles that copy. Audio is not embedded in catalogues. These features run locally. This version does not send collection content to an AI service and does not provide a public feed, posting, followers or community moderation.

The app does not upload your booklet images or audio for these features. Device or computer backups may include local app data according to your Apple backup settings; a backup is separate from the app's live storage.

2. Guest access

Continue as Guest opens the collection on this device. No email registration or login is offered. The app sends a device identifier to create a device-scoped service session and load service configuration. Your booklet images, notes and recordings remain on this device and are not uploaded as part of that session. Legacy local email information, if present from an older version, is removed when you delete the collection.

When you open our online activity, privacy or terms pages, Cloudflare, our hosting provider, receives ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser information and requested page to deliver and protect the website. These requests do not upload your booklet images, recordings or collection. Hosting logs and provider records follow their retention and legal requirements; contact us for privacy requests. 3. Tracking choice

Vesku requests App Tracking Transparency permission for advertising-performance measurement. Your choice does not restrict guest access, recording, collection tools or purchases. This build does not include an advertising attribution SDK. Service-session and purchase-verification requests are operational requests, not uploads of your collection content. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. Apple processes App Store transactions under its own policies.

4. Permissions

• Camera: capture booklet-page photos when you choose the camera.
• Photos: import images you select for your archive.
• Microphone: record listening notes after you tap the recording button. Each note is limited to two minutes; leaving the recording page or moving the app to the background ends recording. Playback does not require microphone access.

You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Denying camera, photos or microphone limits the corresponding capture feature; other collection functions remain available.

5. Retention and deletion

Delete Account in My Collection removes the local login, portrait, booklet images and records, typed notes, listening recordings, saved catalogues and old feed files, and requests deletion of the device-scoped service record. An incomplete deletion is reported and can be retried. Historical credit and purchase records remain in the Keychain for reconciliation. Apple purchase records, device backups and exported copies are separate; manage those with their respective providers.

6. Credits and purchases

Optional consumable credit packs can be purchased through Apple using StoreKit. The app displays prices supplied by the App Store. A newly saved PDF catalogue costs 6 credits; preview, CSV and re-export of the same paid catalogue are free. Credits never expire. Confirmed transactions are recorded locally in the Keychain and deduplicated before completion. Failed or cancelled purchases do not grant credits; interrupted transactions are processed when Apple delivers them again. Consumable credits are not an email-synced account balance. Apple handles payment and refunds; Vesku does not receive your payment-card details or Apple ID password.

7. Children, changes and contact

Vesku is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We will update this page when the app's data practices change and show the effective date above.
